The Life

Hey guys,

We were back into the studio at Toyland for our seventh tracking session with Adam on the 14th of November.

Day 7

Who would have thought that we would still be tracking at this stage of the process. I certainly thought we would be at least mixing by now or maybe even finalising artwork for the website and myspace re-design but it's just not how it went.

More vocals still needed to be corrected and replaced as well as gang vocals added to some sections of certain tracks. I know we aren't a punk but we did it anyway coz it gives things a different texture. Synths velocities were also corrected in one of the tracks.

This pretty much went all the way to lunch. At this point in the day Adam generally identifies Luke as the nice guy in the band and sticks him with a wad of loose change to get him lunch. In this case it was a bucket. That's right a fucking bucket.

Anyway, after a assortments of poultry and vegetables we pressed on like the nasty music making machine we imagine ourselves to be. All the changes we needed to make were completed as well as creating a vocoder surprise for one of the new tracks.

I'm slowly beginning to think this EP is slowly turning into an album.
